heyitsdiggy is a laid-back podcast about everyday thoughts, tiny stories, and ideas that absolutely refuse to mind their own business. There’s no rigid format, no fixed length, and no stopwatch glaring at me from across the room. Episodes appear when there’s something worth saying. Sometimes they’re short. Sometimes they wander off a bit. They always mean well.
Put one on and see where it goes. I don’t always know either.
And if listening isn’t your thing, every episode also comes with a summary as a blog post below, so you can read along, skim dramatically, or pretend you’re being productive.
What should have been a routine gas safety check turned into a bizarre encounter involving unpaid bill accusations, a “fake” boiler flame, and a faulty testing machine.
From a beloved Mini to a disastrous Volkswagen Golf, this is the story of my best and worst cars, packed with breakdowns, chaos, and driving mishaps.
I’m pretty excited today, because I’ve bought myself a brand new piece of kit.
The only way I can really describe it is this:
it’s called a RØDECaster Duo.
If you’re into podcasting or music, you probably already know what that is. If you’re not, don’t worry, I’m about to explain it in far more detail than you asked for.
Several weeks ago now. Possibly months. Time has become more of a vibe than a measurement.
I had to take my daughter to the hospital for a hearing test. She’s had hearing issues for most of her life, although these days they’re actually much better. Technically, she doesn’t really have hearing problems anymore, but she still has to go in for check-ups from time to time.
So off we went.
This past weekend, my boy Tobias turned 10.
And honestly?
It was great.
We threw him a proper party. Invited his entire class, all of his cousins, all of his friends… and almost everyone turned up. By the end of it, we’d had around 36 kids come and go.
It was complete chaos.
But also, weirdly, very well handled.
For those who don’t know me, I previously had a podcast called That’s a Free Bee. You can go back and listen to it if you want. I wouldn’t strongly recommend it if you’re brand new here. Not because it’s bad, but because there’s probably going to be a fair bit of repetition. And nobody needs that much Diggy all at once.
A man gets angry at the wrong person and commits to the bit… all the way into a taxi.
